The Furniture Practice were a fantastic partner on Riverstone Heights, as they have been on several of our projects. They understood the design brief from the outset and worked closely with us to tailor furniture and materials that brought our vision to life. Their attention to detail, both in the quality of the product and in sourcing more sustainable options, added real value to the scheme. It was a highly collaborative process, with the whole team working seamlessly together to deliver everything on time and to a standard we’re really proud of.
Design-led from the start
Furniture played a central role in realising Way of Life’s ambition for Riverstone Heights. Working closely with Way of Life and ADC Atelier, who designed the amenity spaces, our team developed tailored solutions that brought cohesion, character and performance across every environment.
Amenity areas, including co-working hubs, lounges and landscaped terraces, were designed to foster connection and enrich daily life. Responding to this brief, we utilised the full capabilities of our Living team, including in-house product and creative design, to create bespoke pieces that expressed the operator’s vision. Standout elements include custom-designed timber touchpoint tables for the co-working hub, decorative lighting and upholstery crafted to exacting standards. These bespoke interventions were complemented by high-profile designs from Gubi and &Tradition, adding depth and distinction to the interiors.

Quality in every detail
The same attention to detail extended throughout the apartments. We specified solid timber dining tables and lounge chairs constructed from FSC-certified timber, combining material integrity with visual warmth and long-term durability.
Circular principles were embedded throughout the scheme. Outdoor areas feature the Magis Bell collection, made entirely from recycled material repurposed from the manufacturer’s own production processes. Natural, hardwearing materials and carefully considered finishes ensure that every element is built to last – performing well over time, both functionally and visually.

Collaborative delivery
Delivering a project of this scale required close collaboration from start to finish. Our Living team worked hand-in-hand with Way of Life and ADC Atelier to align design intent with operational needs and long-term performance goals. From bespoke product development and specification through to procurement and installation, every piece was designed and sourced to contribute to a cohesive, high-performing environment.

Thoughtful, design-led living
Riverstone Heights shows how furniture can define not just the look of a space, but the way it’s experienced. Through bespoke design, crafted detail and careful material choices, we helped create a place that feels considered, contemporary and uniquely tailored to Way of Life’s vision for rental living in Barking. The project’s impact and design quality have been recognised across the industry – with Riverstone Heights named a Mix Awards 2025 Finalist for Project of the Year – Living Interiors.
