Sustainability
We are driving industry-wide systemic change in the way furniture is evaluated, specified, and managed, ensuring that sustainability is at the centre of everything we do.
Our Commitments
Environmental
Improving the environmental performance of furniture projects
We’ve been actively reducing our carbon emissions since 2014 and are proud to have held our ISO 14001 environmental management certification since 2015. We’re now working even harder to reach our goal of being Carbon Neutral across all TFP operations by 2030. Beyond our own offices, we have worked with project teams to successfully fulfil environmental accreditations and targets such as BREEAM, WELL, LEED and Net Zero Carbon. Our team is trained to help you understand and consider the environmental impact of your project – including evaluation of the carbon impact of furniture options to full lifecycle stewardship of your furniture.

Community
We care about the communities in which we work
We are making social investments that benefit the lives of the people and communities our business affects worldwide. We specify locally sourced products to support local employment and create more inclusive value chains where possible. We are working to make our industry more accessible to all members of society by providing training, internships, mentoring and work experience opportunities and partnering with education providers to support sustainability and diversity goals.

Innovation
Furniture solutions for the circular economy
We recognise that businesses today are making commitments to reduce their carbon impact. We are well-positioned to help you make informed selections that can help drive positive change within the wider furniture industry. Working closely with our vast supply chain, we're evolving with the tools and systems needed to develop low-carbon solutions that promote circularity in our industry. We're actively working towards measuring the carbon impact of furniture projects, so we can use data-based evidence to help businesses, designers, and project teams make the most sustainable choices.

Partnerships and Initiatives
Giving back
We're committed to building a better society, and one of the ways we do this is through fundraising. Every year we support local and national charities that mean a lot to us with events and activities coordinated by our team of charity champions. We've run marathons, climbed mountains, walked, cycled and hosted bake-offs and art auctions to raise funds for various amazing causes, including Cancer Research UK, Magic Breakfast, St Luke's Community Centre, The Mustard Tree and more.
