Unilever's grade II listed Four Acres Centre of Leadership in the UK's Kingston-Upon-Thames has been upgraded to reflect the company's commitment to people and the environment.
Architecture and design studio DMFK were appointed to upgrade and reconfigure Unilever's beautiful grade II listed Arts and Craft House, to reflect the company's values around sustainability, wellness and leadership.
The carefully considered interiors include a welcoming reception area and spaces for dining, working, meeting and quiet working - complemented throughout with art commissioned and curated by multidisciplinary studio Acrylicize.
The furniture for the scheme needed to work alongside the building's beautiful historic features, while also feeling inviting and modern at once. We worked with the designers and project team to select the right mix of pieces, from &tradition's Rely chair, crafted from recycled plastic, to the Kaya lounge chair produced in Hampshire by British manufacturer Morgan Furniture.
