Uncommon’s workspaces are created with wellbeing in mind – every detail of their new Borough location is designed to create an environment in which members feel happier, healthier, and more focused at work.
Ever since its inception Uncommon has been inspired by innovative design principles including ergonomics, biophilia and activity-based working to deliver a holistic and mindful working experience for its members.
The Uncommon team brought us on board to help with their latest workspace in Borough - the aim was to provide unique and beautiful furniture to support member wellbeing across a variety of different work settings.
We worked with the design team to space plan the project – helping to define different work zones and refine the furniture requirements; from high-back lounge chairs for quiet zones, to spacious sofas and upholstered meeting chairs for members to collaborate in comfort.
The project started during the pandemic, which presented several challenges. We quickly adjusted to new ways of working and hosted finishes meetings remotely with the design team to keep the project on track.
Working through multiple lockdowns and to a strict tenant move in date, our delivery and installation team successfully delivered the project on time, making the process hassle-free for the client and project team.
