Specialist Risk Group (SRG) set out to create a new London headquarters that would unite its people following a period of rapid growth and multiple acquisitions. Located at St Botolph, Aldgate, the 38,000 sq ft workspace was designed as a collaborative, people-focused environment that reflects SRG’s distinctive culture and supports connection, wellbeing and pride across the business.
We were appointed to work alongside SRG, designers TSK and project managers Spring4 to provide full furniture consultancy, procurement and styling services, delivering a professional yet personal workplace that feels like a true home for its people.
SRG wanted a workspace that would bring people together while offering flexibility for different ways of working. Generous social zones, informal meeting areas and quieter focus points encourage teams to connect naturally throughout the day. Moving away from the formality often associated with the insurance sector, TSK’s design draws on Scandinavian simplicity and hospitality warmth. Natural woods, textured finishes and soft tonal colours create a calm, homely atmosphere that still conveys confidence and quality.
We worked closely with TSK to ensure the furniture complemented both the design intent and SRG’s operational needs. Pieces were selected for their soft forms, tactile finishes and comfort, reinforcing the relaxed, residential character of the interiors. Fabrics and finishes were coordinated across the scheme’s four colour quadrants to subtly reference SRG’s brand identity. A mix of textured wools, bouclés and leathers adds depth and warmth while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic throughout the workspace.
“TFP worked closely with us and TSK to select furniture that reflects our culture and supports the way our people work, really bringing the design to life by adding texture, colour and fun through the furniture! The styling and finishing touches brought warmth to the space, making it feel like home from day one. It was a smooth, collaborative process throughout, and we’re really happy with the end result.”

Our styling team added the final layer of detail, sourcing and installing accessories, objects and bespoke rugs to elevate the space from well-designed to truly lived-in. Each piece was selected to enhance the tactile palette and reinforce the hospitality-led character of the interiors.
Delivered within a tight five-month programme, the project required close coordination between TFP, TSK and Spring4. Collaborative working throughout ensured a smooth installation and handover, with the completed space receiving highly positive feedback from SRG and the wider project team.
