Love to Rent 2024 - Best BTR Interior Design Award (Highly Commended)

Riverstone Heights marks a new chapter in Bromley-by-Bow’s town centre. Commissioned by operator Way of Life and developer Long Harbour, the 204-apartment Build to Rent scheme puts design, connection and quality of life at its core.

We were appointed to deliver a fully bespoke FF&E package across the scheme, managing every stage of the journey, from early concept development through to procurement and installation, shaping a distinctive identity in the apartments and shared spaces.

Central to the brief for Riverstone Heights was creating a rental experience shaped by characterful interiors and exceptional shared spaces. Furniture played a key role in bringing that ambition to life. Working closely with Way of Life and ADC Atelier, who designed the amenity spaces, our team developed tailored solutions that delivered cohesion, character and performance across every environment.

From co-working hubs and lounges to landscaped terraces, amenities were designed to foster connection and enrich daily life. Responding to the brief, we utilised the full capabilities of our in-house product and creative design team to develop bespoke pieces that expressed Way of Life's unique vision.

Standout elements include custom-designed timber touchpoint tables for the co-working hub, decorative lighting and upholstery crafted to exacting standards. These bespoke interventions were complemented by high-end designs from Gubi and &Tradition, adding depth and distinction to the interiors.

The same attention to detail extended throughout the apartments. We specified solid timber dining tables and lounge chairs constructed from responsibly sourced timber, combining material integrity with visual warmth and long-term durability.

Circular principles were embedded throughout the scheme. Outdoor areas feature the Magis Bell collection, made entirely from recycled material repurposed from the manufacturer’s own production processes. Natural, hardwearing materials and carefully considered finishes ensure that every element is built to last – performing well over time, both functionally and visually.

Delivering a project of this scale required close collaboration from start to finish. From bespoke product development and specification through to procurement and installation, every piece was designed and sourced to contribute to a cohesive, high-performing environment.

The project’s impact and design quality have been recognised across the industry – with Riverstone Heights named a Mix Awards 2025 Finalist for Project of the Year – Living Interiors.
