Mindspace, the boutique flex-space provider known for its beautifully designed and community-driven locations, expanded its global presence with a new coworking destination in Philadelphia. Set within the landmark Wanamaker Building, once home to America’s first department store and the world’s largest fully operational pipe organ, the space has quickly become one of the city’s most sought-after workplaces.
Mindspace was eager to celebrate the building’s rich heritage while expressing its own distinctive brand identity. The result is a stylish blend of workspace, event areas and lounges that pair quirky vintage details with modern luxury, all while preserving and enhancing the character of the historic setting.
Balancing the residential-luxe aesthetic with the durability required for a high-use coworking environment was essential. Working closely with the Mindspace team, we developed furniture options that supported the flexible nature of the space and met the needs of its creative community.
Our extensive supplier network and product expertise were key to delivering the project within budget, and when COVID-19-related challenges arose, we were able to accommodate shipping and manufacturing delays within the programme, ensuring installation was completed on schedule.
