Located in the heart of London’s hospitality community, Diageo’s Global HQ is a destination where workspace, brand and hospitality blend seamlessly. Designed by MCM, the award-winning headquarters brings together creativity and innovation to inspire collaboration among colleagues, customers and partners. 

As the appointed furniture consultant, we worked from the outset to ensure the furniture strategy supported Diageo’s vision for a premium, inclusive and purpose-led workplace.

A core ambition for the project was to create a premium workspace that enabled efficient, agile and smart-based working while supporting an inclusive and purpose-led culture. The new HQ consolidates multiple London offices into a single building, providing over 900 employees with an inspiring environment to collaborate, reconnect and stay closely aligned with Diageo’s consumer-driven mission.

We worked closely with MCM and the wider project team to ensure the furniture strategy fully supported this vision. Through a series of detailed workshops, we captured organisational needs across all workfloors, breakout spaces and specialist areas including the yoga studio, wellness floor, training suites, bars and terraces. This process informed a specification that not only met Diageo’s functional requirements but also fostered inclusivity, connection and wellbeing throughout the headquarters.

High-end finishes and luxurious materials are integrated across the workspace, creating an on-brand experience for both employees and visitors. We collaborated with MCM to maintain design continuity across all furniture, fabrics and finishes, leveraging our manufacturer relationships to develop a range of bespoke products. A standout example is the custom 7.2m boardroom table, crafted with marble and copper-toned metalwork, drawing direct inspiration from Diageo’s world-leading portfolio of iconic brands.

To support the project’s BREEAM certification goals, we ensured all specified products met strict sustainability criteria and coordinated the full suite of required documentation, covering materials, finishes and environmental performance.

Working closely with all consultants, we assumed full responsibility for the furniture scope, ensuring every detail aligned with the project’s vision. The result is a headquarters that brings people together, prioritises wellbeing and delivers a workplace experience that is unmistakably Diageo.

The project has been recognised with two major workplace awards — the BCO Regional Award for Best Fit Out of Workplace and the Mixology23 ‘Project of the Year: Workplace Interiors 70k+ sq ft.’ These accolades reflect not only the quality of the design but also the seamless collaboration across the project team.
