Expanding their European presence, The University of Chicago Booth School of Business has relocated to a prominent London site in Barts Square, bringing together faculty, students, alumni and visitors from around the globe in their impressive new dynamic hub. Occupying approximately 50,000 sq ft across three floors, the new campus will allow for expanded programming across its MBA classes, global corporate seminars and speaker events – becoming integral to the London business and financial community.

Astudio – a design-led practice based in London and Lisbon – focused on timeless design that allowed for flexibility across a mix of settings. The Furniture Practice worked closely with the design team to achieve an agile and dynamic space, ensuring the furniture specification was both durable and functional, as well as mobile and easy to pack away to allow for different settings. Enabling the integration of a large amount of re-use furniture, our in-house Client Services team ensured that this did not compromise the design or functionality of the new Chicago Booth site.
